How to Make IM Work on MySpace
One feature on the popular social networking site MySpace is in-browser chatting. You can use this feature to communicate with other users who are your "MySpace Friends." You do not have to sign up for this feature; it is automatically programmed into your MySpace account. To use the MySpace chat, however, you must make sure you are set to "online." If you are not, you will not be visible to friends online and cannot communicate with them.

Tips & Warnings
You must be connected to the Internet to use MySpace chat. If the program is running slowly, try logging out of MySpace and then back in. If you are downloading things while chatting or running multiple programs on your computer at once this can cause your MySpace chat to lag.
