How to Turn off the Captcha on Facebook
For security purposes, Facebook requires users with unverified accounts to enter into an input box a series of characters that appear on-screen when sending friend requests to other users. The captcha security measure lets Facebook know that there is a real person on the other end of the request. As an alternative to entering a captcha each time you send a friend request, you have the option to verify your account with Facebook. You can do so using a text-message code sent to your mobile phone or by using a valid email address from an affiliate university or college.
