How to Make XP Change Wallpapers Automatically

The wallpaper on the desktop of a computer running Windows XP can be made to change automatically.

Windows XP has a feature that allows you to change the wallpaper on your desktop. Programs exist that are developed by Microsoft that enhance or modify a certain aspect of Windows XP. These programs are called "PowerToys" and supply a fun new way to use a Microsoft product. A wallpaper changing PowerToy has been developed for Windows XP that changes the wallpaper of your desktop automatically.

Instructions

1. Access the Windows XP creativity fun pack PowerToys wallpaper changer in the Microsoft Download Center.

2. Click "Download." This will start the download of the program to your computer.

3. Start the instillation. Click "Open" or "Run this program from its current location" when prompted.

4. Save the file on your computer for later use. Click "Save" when prompted.

5. Click on the program from the system tray to open it. Follow the instructions to select a folder of pictures to display and change automatically. Set the interval time for the pictures to change.
