How to Uninstall a Twitter App From Facebook

Twitter developed a dedicated application for Facebook that allows Twitter members to post in their Facebook account by making a "tweet" or Twitter post. This applies for every tweet that you make the moment you install the Twitter application on Facebook. Your Facebook account has the Twitter application if you previously inputted your Twitter account username and password on the application page. Visit the Twitter application in Facebook and edit your Facebook privacy settings to uninstall the application if you do not want Facebook to display future Twitter posts.

Instructions

1. Visit the Twitter application page on Facebook (see Resources).

2. Click the "Want to disconnect your Twitter and Facebook accounts?" link. Confirm that you want to disconnect your Twitter account from Facebook by clicking the "OK" button.

3. Click the "Account" link on the Facebook header and go to "Privacy Settings." Click "Edit your settings" under "Apps and websites."

4. Click the "Edit Settings" button next to "Apps you use." Click the "Edit Settings" link next to "Twitter" and click "Remove app" to uninstall the application.
