How to Have Disk Doctor Make Repairs
ARAX Disk Doctor lets you recover data on your hard drive. It is designed to recover data that has been deleted and emptied from the recycle bin, a formatted hard drive, inaccessible or unbootable hard drive, a hard drive with damage or corrupted partition tables. Most of the time, even when information has been deleted, it still hasn't gone from your hard drive; it has been marked as information that can be written over when next you add something. Don't wait too long before trying to restore the information.

Run "Scan wizard" on the drive containing lost files or folders. Right-click the appropriate drive and click "Scan" or from the disk menu click "Scan." Run the simple scan first. If the files are not found, run the advanced drive scan. Click "Scan Drive" to begin the scanning process.

View the files in the "Recovery Explorer" that shows up after scanning the drive. Click the check box next to each of the files you need to recover.

Click "Recover" and select the default destination path or create a new one. You can also change the file or folder name. Click "Recover" again to confirm your selection. Click "Finish" to close the wizard when done.

Do not recover files and folders to the same drive or you risk copying over the original files, losing your information permanently.
