How to Uninstall a File Called Viewpoint

Viewpoint is a media playing software that allows computer users to view 3D content, videos, and Flash content online. Viewpoint is a graphic platform installed on many computers, but other people can download Viewpoint as a plug-in. Removing the Viewpoint file usually occurs after a person tries the program and realizes that it is not for him. Other people may find Viewpoint difficult to use. Deleting Viewpoint is not hard to do using features already available on the computer.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" menu at bottom of page and then click "Control Panel."

2. Click "Programs" and then click "Uninstall a Program" for Windows 7 operating systems. A list of currently installed programs opens.

3. Scroll down list to find Viewpoint. Click the program.

4. Click the "Uninstall" button. A window opens asking user to confirm removal of program.

5. Click "Yes." Uninstalling begins. The progress appears on a new window that closes once removal is complete.

6. Reboot the computer.
