How to Reset a BlackBerry 8820

The Blackberry 8820 offers two resetting options: a soft reset -- referred to as a hard reset in BlackBerry lingo -- and master reset. A soft reset simply restarts the device, offer a troubleshooting solution when it freezes or stops performing like it should. Unlike a soft reset, a master reset deletes all the data on the BlackBerry 8820. Performing a master reset deletes all files stored on the internal memory or MicroSD card permanently.
