  • Pool brush
  • Vacuum

      Attach a pool leaf net to a pole and run it across the top surface of the pool water. Catch as much floating debris in the leaf net as possible and remove it from the pool. Continue until no debris remains on the pool surface.

      Attach a pool brush to a pole. Scrub the floor and sides of the pool surface with the brush. Move any loose debris on the pool bottom to one central area to make for easier removal.

      Assemble a swimming pool vacuum and lower it into the pool water. Roll the vacuum's head slowly over the floor of the pool to vacuum up any settled out loose debris. If debris becomes agitated and floats up into the pool water, allow the pool to rest for a few hours before resuming vacuuming.

      Measure 3 oz. of pool clarifier into a container. Pour the dosage from the container into the pool's water directly. Circulate the pool water with the filter and pump for a few hours to give the chemical time to move throughout the pool. Water clarifiers keep particles in the water from free floating, allowing for clearer water.
