Wasps are dangerous flying bugs that you want as far away from you as possible. When you see wasps nearby, the best thing to do is to call an exterminator or buy wasp killer and kill the nesting place. Once the nest is destroyed, your area should remain wasp free. - Wasp killer
- Wasp repellent
- Layers of clothing
- Insect veil
- Garbage bag
- Rubber gloves

Locate the nest that houses the wasps. If you see wasps frequently, the nest is probably nearby.

Wear layers of long-sleeved clothing and an insect veil when you approach the nest. If the nest is indoors, open all doors and windows.

Stand a few feet from the nest and do not stand directly under it. Spray the wasp killer directly at nest until it is foaming. Try to spray the wasps directly as they exit the nest. Continue spraying until the wasps cease exiting the nest.

Wait 24 hours before removing nest. Put on a pair of thick rubber gloves the layers of clothing and insect veil. Ensure that there are no wasps flying around or buzzing in or near the nest. Place the nest into garbage bag and secure it by tying it into a knot. Dispose of the garbage bag.

Spray wasp repellent where the nest was and in any areas where you have seen wasps or think that they may frequent.
