How to Hook Up My Samsung ML-2850 Printer to My Mac

The Samsung ML-2850 series laser printer was released in 2009 and is compatible for use with Windows, Linux and Macintosh OS X 8.6 through 10.4. This printer comes with a software CD that contains the printer's drivers. The CD enables compatibility on the Mac OS and includes the PostScript software that manages the printer's operations. The 2850 laser printer requires a high-powered USB 2.0 port, which is commonly found on the back of your Macintosh desktop or on the left side of Mac laptops.
