How to Disable Buzz Email
Google Buzz, a feature from Google Inc.'s Gmail service, allows users to share and comment on stories, photos and videos. This social networking application automatically sends a notification email to user's Gmail inboxes when one of their friends shares a new post. While Google Buzz does not allow you to disable that function, you can nevertheless block Google Buzz emails from clogging up your inbox.

Visit the Gmail home page (see Resources) and log in to the service by typing your Google Account credentials and clicking on the "Sign in" button.

Click on the "Create a filter" link at the top of your screen.

Type "label:buzz" in the "Has the words:" field and click on the "Next Step" button. Click on "OK" if a warning message pops up.

Click on the check boxes next to "Mark as read" and "Skip the Inbox." Then click on the "Create filter" button. Google Buzz notification emails will now stop appearing in your inbox.
