How to Make Recurring Tasks in iCal
Some things are just part of daily life; for most people, there are several tasks and events that recur on a constant and regular basis. Using software such as Apple's iCal is a useful way to keep track of these tasks and events. Setting up a recurring task -- or "To Do" in iCal lingo -- is quick and easy. With a few clicks, you'll never again forget to clean the bathtub or take Fido for a walk.

1
Open iCal and select "File" and "New To Do." A "New To Do" item will pop up on the right hand side of the calendar.
-
2
Left click the item if using a mouse; if using the trackboard, press down with one finger. Keeping the button or board pressed, drag the item into the box of the calendar day for when the task must be accomplished.

-
3
Double click the item in the day box and select "Edit."
-
4
Click the "None" box under the "Repeat" heading and choose when you would like the item to recur. You may choose every day, week, month, year, or a custom setting.
-
5
Click "Done." The task will now be set to recur on each day chosen.
