How to Deep Cleanse Ink
Ink may be a necessary part of our everyday life and is present in almost any pen, marker or printer cartridge we use. However, it can also stain clothing or other fabric and can be difficult to clean once the ink has saturated and set into the fabric. Deep cleaning ink can be difficult and it may not be possible to completely remove ink from surfaces, but some household tools and a little effort can help remove the ink. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Dry cleaning solvent
- Stain removal product
- Liquid laundry detergent
- Rubbing alcohol
- Lemon juice
- Clean cloth(s)

Blot the fabric with a dry cleaning solvent or stain removal product. Use a cloth you do not mind staining.

Wash the item in cold water and then dab the stain with rubbing alcohol. Allow the item to air-dry.

Mix a small amount of liquid laundry detergent and lemon juice and rub into the stain if it remains after air-drying. Let it air dry again for at least 30 minutes.

Wash in cold water and apply stain remover to the stain.

Repeat the above steps as necessary until the stain is gone. Wash the item in laundry detergent and cold water once the stain is gone.

Tips & Warnings
Do not dry the item in a dryer until the stain is gone, as the heat from the dryer will set the stain in completely.
