How to Rub Honey on a Pork Roast

Things You'll Need
- Honey
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Rosemary, dried
- Red wine
- Measuring spoons
- Measuring cups
- Mixing bowl
- Wooden spoon
- Whisk

Combine 1/4-cup honey, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. onion powder and 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary. Mix well with a spoon. Add 1/4-cup red wine and whisk ingredients. This wet rub should have a medium-to-thick consistency, just a little thinner than the consistency of plain honey.

Paint the wet rub onto the uncooked pork roast with a cooking brush. Cover the top and sides of the roast.

Put on the plastic gloves and rub the honey wet rub into the roast. Massage the rub into the meat so the meat is completely saturated.

Tips & Warnings
Add 1/4 tsp. hot mustard to the wet rub give the taste of the pork roast a kick. You can find this mustard in the Asian food section at your local grocery store.
Add cornstarch to the mixture 1 tsp. at a time if it is too thin.
