How to Open HP Director

Many HP printers originally designed for use with Windows XP come with the HP Director program. This program helps you configure and use the printer. HP director should open whenever you attempt to perform a function on the printer that requires the program. Instructions

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.

2. Click "All Programs."

3. Click the "Hewlett Packard" folder. It might be listed as "HP" on your computer.

4. Click "HP Director."

5. Press "Alt" plus "Spacebar" on your keyboard. Click "Minimize" in the menu.

6. Click "HP Director" in your Windows taskbar.
