How to Display a Picture in a DVD Menu
The program Windows DVD Maker is native to computers running Windows Vista and higher. This program allows you to burn videos as DVDs that will play in most modern external DVD players. You can even customize how the DVD menu will look when you load the DVD on your TV. You can use this tool to add a picture that will display in the background of the DVD menu when it loads.

Insert the DVD blank into your DVD drive. An auto-play window appears. Select the Windows DVD Maker option and click "OK."

Click "Add Item(s)," and double-click the video you want to make into a DVD.

Click "Next." Click the "Customize Menu" button in the next screen. Click the "Background video" box.

Click "Browse." Select the image you want to add. Click the "Add" button to add it. Click "Burn" in the main DVD Maker screen to begin burning the DVD.
