How to Search for a Past Event on Facebook

Facebook Events can be either private or public.

Facebook Events are a platform to invite friends and family to birthdays, charity events, or any other occasion. Invite a few close friends and keep the event page private, or make the event public so that anyone in the Facebook community may RSVP. All of the events to which you are currently invited appear on your Facebook homepage. If you're looking for an event that has already taken place, the search takes just a few clicks of the mouse.

Instructions

1. Point your browser to the Facebook homepage, and click on the "Events" icon in the left column.

2. Click the "Past Events" link that appears on the left side of the screen. Events that have already taken place appear as a list, with the most recent events at the top of the page.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the right-facing arrow to see older events.
