How to Disable Gloda in Thunderbird 3.0

Mozilla Thunderbird 3.0 is an open source stand-alone email client compatible with Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. Thunderbird allows users to link IMAP and POP3 email accounts, as well as the ability to retrieve RSS feeds and access news groups. Thunderbird 3.0 uses the Gloda indexing system in order to search quickly through account messages. Disabling the Gloda indexing feature increases performance and reduces the amount of background processing resources needed to operate Thunderbird.
