How to Turn on Your BlackBerry 8800
RIM released the BlackBerry 8800 in 2007 as a full-QWERTY keypad version of its popular Pearl line of devices. The BlackBerry 8800 style would eventually inspire BlackBerry's Curve and Bold lines of smartphones. If you are used to using other BlackBerry devices, you may think the power button is a little difficult to find. Like all BlackBerry devices, the 8800 needs a battery installed before it will power on.
