How to Upload from Picasa to Facebook

Picasa is a software program you can use to manage photographs on your computer. Picasa's powerful tagging and organization options can help you keep those digital memories all in one place on your machine. Using the Picasa Uploader app offered on Facebook, you can post your Picasa photos online. It's a quick and easy way to upload a batch of photos stored in Picasa's library. With a few mouse clicks, you can share your memories with your Facebook friends.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the Facebook homepage, and log in to your account.

2. Type "picasa" in the search box at the top of the page. Click on "Picasa Uploader" in the drop-down menu that appears.

3. Click on "Go to App." To install the Picasa Uploader for Facebook, click "Install Now" on the page that appears.

4. Click "Facebook" in the window that appears, then click "Add."

5. Open the Picasa Uploader window, and click on each photo you wish to upload. Click "Hold" after you click on a photo, if you want to queue up multiple photos to upload.

6. Click on the "Facebook" button to upload your selected photos. Click "Allow" if the Picasa Uploader prompts you for permission to access your Facebook account.

7. Click on "Create a New Album" in the window that appears, if you wish to create a new Facebook album for your Picasa pictures. If you want to add Picasa photos to an existing Facebook album, click on the album.

8. Click "Upload" to upload your selected pictures to Facebook.

9. Click on the "Confirm" option in the window that appears after the upload is complete to confirm that you want to upload the photos to Facebook.
