How to Make Vampire Teeth Out of Nails

Complete a scary costume with realistic-looking vampire teeth.

Options for fake vampire teeth range from unrealistic and cheap to custom-molded and expensive. A middle ground option, fake nails, provides you with a cheap option that still looks quite convincing. Make realistic vampire fangs with plastic press-on nails for Halloween or any type of costume party. The plastic nails make the fangs look so much more realistic than plastic, full-mouth, bright-white vampire teeth that children usually use.

Things You'll Need

• Uncolored plastic fingernails
• Fingernail clippers
• Nail file
• Clean towel
• White dental adhesive paste

Instructions

1. Using fingernail clippers, clip two plastic nails to make a point at one end of each.

2. File the sides of the fingernails to fit into your canine teeth. Hold the fingernails up to your teeth periodically while filing to judge how much more you need to file off the sides.

3. Rinse the fitted teeth with plain water to remove filing dust and dry them with a clean towel.

4. Apply a dot of white denture adhesive to the inside of each fang and press them firmly onto your canine teeth to cover the teeth completely.
