How to Cite From an Anthology

An anthology is a compilation of works, usually by different authors. Citing from an anthology can sometimes be challenging, because you need to include information about both the original work in the anthology, as well as bibliographic information about the anthology itself. However, both the Modern Language Association (MLA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) offer clear guidelines for the citation of works included in anthology collections.
