How to Kill Black Widows & Brown Recluses
Black widows and brown recluses are two of the most poisonous spiders on the planet. Both spiders are found in North America and are the only spiders in that region that consistently prove to be harmful to humans. Many pest control companies have developed sprays that you can use to kill these spiders from a safe distance. You can also kill black widows and brown recluses by crushing them underfoot, although you should not attempt to touch the spiders with your bare skin. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Protect your body. Put on shoes and socks that cover your feet and ankle area. Wear a long sleeved shirt and long pants. If a spider lands on your bare skin, it is easier for it to inject poison into your body than if you are wearing protection.
-
2
Locate the spider in question. Keep a safe distance back and be on the lookout for more spiders in the area.

3
Deploy inspect spray specifically created to kill black widow and brown recluse spiders. These are commonly found in the garden section of your home improvement store.
-
4
Step on the spider with a shoe. Once the spider spray has rendered the spider motionless, crush the spider with your shoe. If the spider is a black widow, remove the egg sacks from its web, if any are present, and crush them as well. The egg sacks harbor the next generation of spiders.
