Every Apple computer comes with the Boot Camp utility that allows you to install a Windows operating system on the computer and turn the computer into a dual-boot device. After you have used the Boot Camp Assistant to create a Boot Camp partition and install the new operating system, you can open the Boot Camp partition by holding a specific key and resetting the computer.
Click the "Apple" icon in the computer's menu bar and select the "Restart..." option from the Apple menu.
Press and hold the "Option" key while the computer is restarting to display the dual boot startup screen.
Click the startup disk for the Windows Boot Camp partition to highlight it. Click the arrow beneath the startup disk icon to open the Boot Camp partition. The computer will now boot with the Windows operating system.
