1
Place vellum stencils onto a dried Gooseneck Gourd and tape them down using art tape. Art tape can be applied and removed without damaging the gourd or leaving behind residue. You can find a wide variety of vellum stencils at any craft supply store.

2
Dip the end of a sponge brush into acrylic paint and tap the sponge brush onto the vellum stencils. Cover the opening of each stencil, making sure not to go over the edges of the stencils. Let the paint dry for 15 minutes, then remove the stencils and art tape. Repeat to apply as many stenciled pictures onto the Gooseneck Gourd as you wish.

3
Dip the end of a toothpick into acrylic paint, and apply the paint directly onto the Gooseneck Gourd. This will allow you to paint on more intricate detailing, such as small designs, dots and pictures. Allow the paint to dry for 15 minutes.

4
Paint a layer of clear acrylic glaze over the entire Gooseneck Gourd using a paintbrush. This will protect the paint from peeling or chipping off. Allow the glaze to dry for 20 minutes before displaying the gourd.
