How to Type on Chat Roulette
Chat Roulette is a website that lets you have video and audio conversations with other people that you connect to at random. The site is free to use, and you can still make use of it without a camera by using the typing feature to communicate with the person you connect with instead of speaking through the microphone on your webcam.You can also type to communicate if there's a problem with your webcam and it doesn't pick up audio.

Navigate to the Chat Roulette website. (See References)

Click "Allow" when the window comes up asking you for permission to turn on your webcam. You see a video of yourself in one of the boxes at the top.

Click "Start" to connect to your first stranger.

Click the text box at the bottom of the screen and enter the text you want. Click "Say" to send it to the stranger.
