Instructions

    • 1

Measure and cut several lengths of board, using the tape measure and saw. You will need two pieces 6.5 inches long, two pieces 4 inches long, and two pieces 5 inches long. Do not alter the width of the board.

    • 2

Attach the 1/2 inch drill bit to the drill. Set one of the 5 inch pieces aside, and lay the remaining pieces out on the saw horse.

    • 3

Carefully mark six dots on each piece of wood. The holes should be in two rows of three marks. The spacing between each mark should be one inch.

    • 4

Drill through each mark with the electric drill. Make sure the drill bit goes all the way through the board, and completely out the other side.

    • 5

Sand out any rough edges using the sandpaper. Make sure to check for rough patches inside and around each drill hole.

    • 6

Arrange the five pieces on the sawhorse by laying the 5 inch piece flat, and forming the other pieces around it to make a box. Stand the 6 1/2 inch pieces up along the long edges of the 5 inch piece, and slip the 4 inch pieces into the gaps created on the short side.

    • 7

Remove the drill bit from the drill, and replace it with the Phillips head screwdriver bit.

    • 8

Screw three screws through each corner of the box. Orient each screw so that it goes through the side of a 6 1/2 inch piece, and into a 4 inch piece. The screws should be placed equidistantly, with one through the center, and one on each end.

    • 9

Screw two additional screws through the bottom edge of each short side. Place each screw so that it goes through the short side of the box, and secures into the base of the box.

    • 10

Place the remaining piece of wood on the top of the box. This piece will act as a lid, and allow you to "press" the tofu.
