My Outlook 2007 Is Not Opening an Attached File

Microsoft Outlook 2007 separates email attachments into two categories: safe or unsafe. Outlook refers to the attachment's file extension -- a three character suffix appended to the end of a file name -- to determine whether or not the file poses a security risk to your computer. Common examples of unsafe file extensions include EXE, BAT, DLL and REG. Although some attachments can harm your computer, if you know the file is safe and that it comes from a trusted source, downloading the attachment won't pose any risk to your PC. If Outlook 2007 prevents you from opening or viewing an attached file, you can use CodeTwo Attach Unblocker or Outlook Attachment Enabler to unblock the attachment.
