How to Turn the AOL Top Speed On
AOL Top Speed is automatically activated every time you sign into your AOL account. To make sure that AOL Top Speed is on, you can set up a seamless sign on for your AOL account. This will turn Top Speed on as soon as you log into Microsoft Windows. Top Speed helps your browsing experience through caching and compression. There is no way to determine the rate of speed increase. In large part this is still determined by your connection and load on the websites you visit.

Open your AOL browser and type in keyword "Browser Fix." Click "OK" on the box that pops up.

Click "File" and "Exit" to completely close out of your AOL browser software. Reboot your computer.

Launch your AOL browser once you are logged into your computer. Go to keyword "Billing" and verify that you don't need to log into your account.

Repeat the process if sign in is required when you get to the AOL billing page. If you are instead directed to the account overview page, the process worked and you can continue browsing with AOL Top Speed.
