These mats allow children to play with their Thomas trains on a safe surface. With the proper care, the playmat will last for years to come.       Place the Thomas playmat on a flat surface.

      Lay several heavy books directly on the platmat and let sit for several hours or -- preferably -- overnight. Continue with the remaining steps if the creases remain.

      Dampen a cloth with warm water and apply the warm water directly to the creases. Flatten the pliable creases with your hands for several seconds until the mat is flat. Continue with the remaining steps if the creases remain.

      Set a hairdryer on a low heat. Hold the hairdryer 4 to 5 in. above the Thomas playmat and apply heat for several seconds. Flatten the creases with your hand while applying heat. If needed, place several heavy books on top of the warm creases and let sit for several hours.
