- Although most people think of butter and salt as the most popular popcorn seasoning, it may be time to think outside the box and incorporate some other favorite flavors into this common snack. We are familiar with ranch seasoning on chips and salad, but if you whip up a batch of ranch salt popcorn, you will be hooked.

Pop enough popcorn to make approximately 3 qts.. Do not add butter or salt.

Melt 1/3 cup butter and let it cool slightly. In another bowl, mix 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan, 2 tbsp. dry ranch dressing seasoning, 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes and 1/4 tsp. onion powder.

Add the powder mixture to the butter and combine thoroughly.

Pour the butter mixture over the popcorn and stir to coat it.

Pour the popcorn into a greased glass baking pan and place in the oven preheated at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
