How to Donate to the Salvation Army Thrift Stores
The Salvation Army is a nonprofit charity that works in communities all over the world to aid the less fortunate. Monetary donations given to the Salvation Army are used to feed hungry children, provide disaster relief and fund children's activities. In-kind donations, such as clothing and appliances are sold in Salvation Army Thrift Stores: The proceeds from thrift stores are used to fund adult rehabilitation centers all over the country. Making a donation to the Salvation Army provides an income tax deduction on your federal income tax return and the process of donating is simple.
