How to Make Skype Not Pop Up
If you have Skype configured to automatically run when you start Windows, Skype opens and pops up on the desktop every time you start Windows. This process can cause the computer to load slower and opens a window that you must manually close before you begin to work. If you don't want to have Skype pop up on the desktop every time you start Windows, you must disable the auto-start feature in Skype.
