How to Install Garmin Maps on an Oregon 450

With the Oregon 450, you will never be lost, unless you have outdated maps, that is. Luckily, this won't be a problem because there's a simple process for installing maps onto your Oregon 450.

Instructions

1. Go to the product details page for the Oregon 450 on the Garmin website which is listed in the Resources section below.

2. Click "Compatible Maps" from the menu on the page, then view additional maps for the Oregon 450.

3. Select the map you want to install. For example, you can select the map for all of North America. Click "Download."

4. Enter your payment information to purchase the map.

5. Plug your Oregon 450 into your computer when prompted. Use the USB cord that you received when you purchased the device. The map update you bought will automatically install on your Oregon 450.
