How to Sew a Mesh Sling
Slings are simple fabric pieces that are used to carry babies. Mesh slings are used for hot days or activities like going into a pool with a baby. Slings can be made out of many kinds of fabric. Look for durable, strong fabrics that will hold up well in the laundry. Try to avoid overly stretchy mesh fabrics.Smaller mesh is stronger than wider mesh.

Insert one end through two metal or wood (laundry-safe) 3-inch rings. Fold the end of the fabric over the rings and sew across the end and the fabric with three seams 1/4-inch apart. Insert the tail (the other end of the fabric) into one ring, over the edge of the ring and through the second ring to adjust the length of the sling.

Tips & Warnings
The tail of the sling can be lengthened or shortened to meet your needs. A longer sling will more easily fit parents of any size than a smaller one.
