How to Remove Condensation in Camera Phone Lenses
Whether your phone took a tumble into the toilet or was lying on the countertop while you were washing dishes, the end result is a waterlogged electronic device. Some of this moisture can find its way into the lens housing of your phone's built-in camera. This can cause foggy pictures or, in a worst-case scenario, a completely inoperable camera. Removing this condensation is simpler than you might think, and no complex disassembly of your phone is needed.

1
Remove your phone's battery and set it aside. Also lift out your SIM card, usually located just beneath the battery.

2
Pour dry white rice into a plastic sandwich bag until half full. The rice will quickly absorb any moisture lingering in your phone, including the small amount of condensation on the camera lens.

3
Place your phone into the bag of rice. Seal the bag and allow it to sit undisturbed overnight.

Tips & Warnings
Alternatively, you may use silica gel packets to dry out your phone's camera lens. Fill a plastic bag with 10 to 20 packets, seal and leave overnight.
Never heat your phone with a hair dryer or microwave. This will permanently damage your phone and may result in electric shock or fire.
