How to Get Eidolons Stronger in "Final Fantasy XIII"
In "Final Fantasy XIII" the six main protagonists in the game have guardians, or Eidolons, that they are able to summon in battle. These Eidolons are powerful beings that can help your party in an intense boss or enemy battle. When you summon your character's Eidolon, your party members will be fully healed and also be cured of any ailments they received in battle. Eidolons become more powerful as your characters level up their Crystarium. Once your character has reached Level 5 in a certain role, the Eidolon will increase its power.

Fight every opponent and defeat them all to receive points for your Crystarium tree. As the game progresses, each protagonist will gain additional roles. There are six roles: Commando, Ravager, Sentinel, Medic, Saboteur and Synergist.

Level up your Crystadium with the points given to you. It is best to stick with a certain role until you have maxed it out. The highest level you can achieve for each role is Level 5. Some Crystarium roles may take longer than some to max out.

Summon your Eidolon during battle when the time calls for it. It will have an SP Gauge that will deplete as time progresses or if your Eidolon takes a lot of damage. Before the SP Gauge runs out, activate your Eidolon's Gestalt Mode. In this mode, your Eidolon will be able to do special attacks and deal more damage to the enemy. Gestalt Mode will end when the timer is up.

Continue to level your character roles by doing side quests and not running away from mobs or enemies.

Tips & Warnings
If you find that you are having trouble with a particular fight, you may need to level your party up more to build your Crystarium up. As you level the Crystarium, you will receive special abilities that may be beneficial to your party.
