How to Upgrade Plesk

Plesk, also known as "Parallels Plesk Panel," "Parallels Plesk Control Panel" and "Plesk Server Administrator," is a commercial Web hosting automation program. There are various ways you can upgrade Plesk, but you can't upload all Plesk versions to the latest one directly. If you use Plesk 7.5.4 or later, you can upgrade to the most recent version without middle steps. You will need administrative rights on your computer to complete this task.

Instructions

1. Click the Start menu and point to "All Programs."

2. Click "SWsoft." Click "Plesk."

3. Click to launch "Plesk Auto Updater." The updater will connect the SWsoft website and locate all the latest updates.

4. Place a checkmark next to all the available updates. Doing so will upgrade your Plesk with new and most recent components.

5. Click "Install" to start the upgrade.

6. Reboot your system once the components are installed.
