How to Draw a Spy in "Team Fortress 2"

The Spy is designed to confuse the enemy in "Team Fortress 2." Valve, the creators of "Team Fortress 2," have given the character classes a great deal of personality and the Spy is no exception. Whether you want to capture the essence of the Red or Blue Spy, a drawing of this slinky rouge is sure to please fans of the game.

Things You'll Need

  • Screenshot of Spy
  • Paper
  • Pencils
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Paints
  • Markers
  • Sketch the outline of the Spy's body using pencil. Use simple shapes, such as a rectangle for the body, an oval for the Spy's head and slim rectangles for the arms and legs. The drawing should look like a blocky mannequin.

  • Connect the shapes with broad pencil strokes. The Spy is composed of a few simple geometric shapes. For example, make the rectangular torso more natural by drawing a simple, full-body suit over it. Erase the geometric shapes and the lanky Spy will take form.

  • Draw details to personalize the Spy, from the eyeholes in his ski mask to the pinstripes on his suit. The Spy is a cocky character who sees himself as more talented and refined than his teammates. Experiment with facial expressions that reflect his distinguished attitude. The Spy always wears: gloves, a pinstriped suit, a neck tie, loafers and a ski mask. Some of his accessories include: a revolver, switchblade knife, metal cigarette case and the Electro Sapper.

  • Color in the drawing with paint, colored pencil, crayons or any medium that best suits your style. The Spy can be red or blue.

Tips & Warnings

  • For a humorous twist, consider drawing the Spy wearing one of his disguise masks. Draw a simple, white mask over the Spy's face and draw any face you want over the mask.
