How to Access the BIOS Menu on a Toshiba Portege 3020

The Toshiba Portege 3020 is a personal notebook computer equipped with the Microsoft Windows 98 operating system and an Intel Pentium 300 MHz processor. A BIOS utility is built into the system to allow users to modify hardware settings. The Toshiba Hardware Setup Utility provides access to the BIOS. BIOS settings may need to be changed from their default values depending on how the computer is being used.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button once Windows 98 has loaded.

2. Click "Programs." Select "Toshiba Utilities."

3. Click the "Hardware Setup" icon.

4. Click "Apply" to save any changes made in the BIOS Hardware Setup utility.
