How to Convert a PPT to a TIFF

Microsoft PowerPoint filled its slideshow-making software with an almost endless array of options to customize presentations, from animations to clip art to backgrounds. PowerPoint also comes with a number of post-presentation options. While the default setting to save a PowerPoint file is the PPT extension, you may find a need to convert the slides to a graphics format, such as TIFF (tag image file format). Go from PPT to TIFF within moments in a couple of clicks.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Microsoft PowerPoint. Click the "File" tab and select "Open."

    • 2

Browse to the presentation to convert to TIFF and double-click its file name, opening the slideshow on the PowerPoint work area.

    • 3

Click the "File" tab again. Select "Save As."

    • 4

Pull down the "Save as type" menu and select "TIFF Tag Image File Format." Make any changes to the name of the file and save destination as desired. Click the "Save" button to complete the conversion.
