      Create a new document by clicking "Create New." Select the type of file you want to work on, for example a "Document." '

      Alternatively, open an existing document.

      Click the "Share" button in the top-right corner and select "Share Settings." Under "Add People" list the email address of each person you want to invite. Alternatively, select from your list of contacts by clicking "Choose from Contacts."

      Specify editing or read access for each person by selecting "Edit" or "View" from the "Can Edit" drop-down menu.

      Add a message to the people you invite in the text box below. Click "Share" to send the invitation.
