How to Get a Screenshot on an iPhone

A screenshot taken on your iPhone is also known as screen grab.

Getting a screenshot of your iPhone's screen may be useful if you need a visual record of a text message or your phone records. A screenshot may also be used to record a webpage you are browsing on your phone. When you take a screenshot on your iPhone, a picture of how your screen currently appears saves to the phone's photo album. You can send the screenshot by email or multimedia message to others.

Instructions

1. Press the "Home" button on the iPhone.

2. Access the screen of which you want to take a screenshot.

3. Press and release the "On/Off" and "Home" button at the same time. The screen will flash to indicate the screenshot was successfully taken and saved in your iPhone's photo album.

Tips & Warnings

• Review the screenshot by tapping "Photos," and then "Camera Roll."
