How to Make a Sun-Dried Brick
Sun-dried bricks only require three ingredients and are simple enough to make cost-efficient homes or walls. Use sun-dried bricks in dry, arid climate with little rain to avoid fast deterioration of the structure. Sift the clay with a mesh screen. Stones and rocks will compromise the strength of the brick.

Add water and straw to the clay. Mix evenly with your hands until the mud is thick.

Pack the brick mold with the mud. Push down on the mud with your body weight to release any air bubbles and extra water.

Place the mold upside down on the ground and strike the back of the mold with your hand.

Lift the mold up to unveil the wet brick.

Leave the brick in full sun for two weeks.
