How to Access Vista Recovery on a Dell Laptop
Dell's recovery software uses a system restore image that is stored in a hidden partition of your Dell computer's hard drive. Unlike earlier editions of the image recovery software, you do not need to use a combination of multiple key presses to boot in to recovery. Instead, the Dell restore options are included on the Vista "Repair your computer" screen.
