How to Destroy Tarot Cards
Tarot cards are tools of cartomancy, a form of divination. Any practitioner that utilizes tarot cards has a personal and spiritual attachment to their deck. The cards have been charged with their energy. It is not common, but some practitioners feel their deck is not working appropriately. When this happens, the practitioner may choose to cleanse the deck of negative energy. When this fails, it is the duty of the practitioner to destroy the deck. Disposing of a tarot deck is done in the same manner as the disposal of any other magickal tool.

Add sage and a pinch of salt to the fire. This cleanses the energy being released from the cards. Add the remaining card pieces to the fire. Let the fire burn until only ashes are left.
