Instructions

    • 1

Position the mower deck in an upright position against a wall or place it upside down so you can easily reach the blades. If necessary, use the assistance of a second person to help you maneuver the Bush Hog.

    • 2

Wedge a wooden block between the edge of the first mower blade and the side of the mower deck. This immobilizes the blade and keeps it from spinning.

    • 3

Loosen the nut in the center of the blade with a socket and ratchet.

    • 4

Pull the old blade off of the shaft and replace it with a new blade.

    • 5

Thread the nut in place and tighten it with the socket and ratchet.

    • 6

Repeat the process with the second blade.
