How to Type with No Spacing
Crafting custom letters and documents is one of the major benefits word processing software programs provide. For work or school projects, employers or instructors will often ask you to format a document within detailed parameters, including specific line spacing requirements. Depending on the capabilities of the specific software, most word processing programs will allow you to change line spacing settings so you will be able to type with no spacing between lines. (See Reference 1 and for all steps.)

2
Click on the "line spacing" or "spacing" tab. Depending on the program, set the line spacing to "single" or "0," which will both result in formatting the document with no spacing between lines. Click "OK" if so indicated.

Type at least two sentences in the word processor to confirm the line spacing is correctly set for single spacing. If the spacing is not correct, recheck the line settings.
