How to Format a Letterhead
For any business, letterhead can be a big timesaver. Letterhead is a preprinted paper designed to save time when printing formal documents. Typically, letterhead includes the company logo along with contact information for the company and space for the body of the letter to be printed. Letterhead may also include personal contact information along with contact information for the company.

Open your layout program. Place your company's logo on the page. A company logo typically sits on the top left or right of the page.

Add your company contact information (address, phone number and fax) to the letterhead. This is usually located at the bottom or in one of the margins (top, bottom or sides) of the letterhead. The information should be formatted as follows:
1234 Fake Company Street - Faketown - New York
Tel: 123-555-4444 - Fax: 123-555-4445
Email: iamfake@fakeemails.com

Add your personal contact information. This is usually placed at the bottom or in the side margins of the paper. For example:
My Name
Cell: 123-555-4444

Add any other accessory information. Sometimes company letterhead will contain the company slogan. This also should go in any one of the margins.

Tips & Warnings
Less is more when formatting letterhead. Too many bells and whistles can distract from the meaning of the text.
