Depending on the model of your Logitech wireless mouse, the batteries could last up to six months -- making it unnecessary to replace them very often. When it does come time to change the batteries, it is important to understand the correct way to open the battery compartment on your mouse. You won't need any special tools to remove the battery cover.
Flip your wireless mouse over so the bottom of the mouse is facing upward.
Locate the battery lock switch and move it to the unlock position. The battery compartment will not budge until the compartment is properly unlocked.
Turn the mouse over so that it is right side up. The battery compartment is located on top of the mouse.
Place your hand on top of the mouse as if you were using it and press your palm firmly into the mouse. As you press on the main body of the mouse, pull toward your body to loosen and remove the top cover. The battery compartment is located just underneath this cover.
Tips & Warnings
- Although most Logitech mouse battery compartments open the same way, some models utilize different methods of opening the compartment. If you have any questions, consult your owner's manual or the Logitech website for more information.
